How Alchemy Bath was born
We love a luxurious bathing ritual and our kids do too, but after reading up on some of the ingredients that were in products from some of our favorite companies we learned about the harsh chemicals in commercial bath products with a potential for rashes, breakouts, exacerbation of hormonal issues, etc.) Our 7 y.o. daughter Izzy had an idea...”Let’s make our own bath bombs!” After all, we just wanted to make bathtime fun. It started, naturally, with bath bombs and is constantly blossoming into an ever expanding product line. We are always researching and concocting luxurious products for you and your family based on feedback from our "extended alchemy family".
All products are handcrafted and cruelty free. We live by the motto we do not sell anything we will not use on our children. We do not use harsh chemicals, fillers or lake dyes. Each recipe is researched and hand crafted for maximum enjoyment. Since these products are all hand crafted with as many natural ingredients as we can source, you will not get a perfectly shaped bath bomb or 2 identical bars of soap, or jars of creme
What’s in it anyway?
All of our products are nearly edible , but NOT made for human consumption. Our products do not include preservatives, SLS, parabens, phthalates or harmful dyes. We used SLSA (a safer way to get fantastic bubbles) natural colorants, organic ingredients and lots of "good for your skin" stuff.
Some of the good for your skin stuff we put in our products are.....
Avocado Oil - can help enhance the skin's ability to generate collagen ensuring that your skin stays firm, smooth and rejuvenated.
Coconut Oil - a powerful moisturizer that is beneficial to restoring dry or flaking skin as well as having properties that can help with anti-aging.
Vitamin E oil- works to help block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process.
Safflower oil - contains lubricant properties that can help prompt the skin to retain water and moisture. Which has linoleic acid, an omega-6 that is packed with essential vitamins that can help prevent dryness and roughness and remove dirt and oil.
Argon Oil - whole body moisturizer, that can help with skin tone, exfoliating, stretch marks and more.
Aloe Vera - useful in helping cool sunburns, and help with signs of aging.
Dead Sea Salts - contain a variety of minerals helping sore muscles and balancing skins moisture.
Shea Butter - Skins best friend & super moisturizer.
Vitamins A & E in shea helps improve dry skin, wrinkles and more.
Cocoa Butter - can help reduce appearance of scars, can help protect skin from irritants, and contains antioxidants that can help improve skin appearance.
Kokum butter - has properties that can help make it ideal for damaged skin. It is easily absorbed into the skin not leaving skin oily.
Organic Honey- contains superior properties that are nourishing and hydrating. If you have any skin care ailments such as severe dry skin it can help the appearance of those issues.
Our products are handmade which makes them limited.
