Gallica Rose- A rose syrup blended with 3 different types of roses.

Gallica Rose, also called Apothecary Rose and the Alchemy rose are historically tied to alchemy through their symbolic and practical uses. In alchemical traditions, roses often represented secrets or the unfolding of wisdom, paralleling the process of transformation and enlightenment central to alchemical practices. The deep red color of gallica roses was particularly associated with the philosopher's stone, a legendary alchemical substance said to grant the ability to convert base metals into precious gold and offer the secrets of immortality. Alchemists also used rose petals in various concoctions, believing in their purifying and rejuvenating properties, which metaphorically aligned with the goals of alchemy to purify and perfect substances.

Gallica roses, belonging to the species Rosa gallica, are one of the oldest cultivated types of roses, known for their historical significance and prominent use in gardens dating back to the Roman era. These roses are linked in folklore associated with Venus and Aphrodite.

Magically, Gallica roses are considered to be powerful components in practices dealing with the heart and emotions. They are commonly used in rituals to enhance compassion, empathy, and emotional healing. The blooms of these roses are also used in spells for beauty and to attract fairy favor, as they are traditionally believed to be beloved by these mystical beings.

Medicinally, the petals of gallica roses have been used in various traditional remedies. They are known for their astringent properties and have been used to treat skin conditions and soothe irritations. Rose water made from the petals is a classic preparation used to calm inflammation and as a gentle toner for sensitive skin. The hips of the rose, which are the fruit that forms after flowering, are rich in vitamin C and have been used to boost immunity and overall health.

Tea Rose Syrup

Tea roses are renowned for their distinct and captivating fragrance, which is often described as having a fresh, sweet aroma with a slightly fruity note reminiscent of fresh tea leaves, hence their name. This unique scent is more pronounced in warmer weather and is highly valued in perfumery for its delicate and enduring qualities.

Medicinally, tea roses possess several beneficial properties that have been explored in traditional remedies. The petals, rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, have been used historically to make syrups, teas, and infusions aimed at boosting the immune system and promoting overall well-being. Rose tea, in particular, is known for its potential to alleviate symptoms of menstrual discomfort and to help with digestive issues.

Tea roses are sometimes used in spiritual healing rituals to cleanse a space or person of negative energies. Their fragrance and the presence of their blooms are thought to purify and bring peace to an environment, facilitating spiritual healing and emotional release. Tea roses are also believed to enhance intuition and psychic abilities. Their petals might be used in baths or potions to help open the third eye and deepen one’s spiritual insights. The roses act as a conduit for prayers, wishes, and messages to the spiritual realm.

Reflecting the cycle of growth and decay, tea roses are often used in rituals that acknowledge life's cycles, such as births, deaths, and transitions, embodying the eternal flow of life and spiritual rebirth.

These are such a fulfilling and theraputic pastime! All item are made from organic materia. The best of the best grade of everything, to create the most pure form of the flower essences into something tangible. These creations are grown in my yard naturally, i use fresh flowers/herbs and or dry organic herbs. I also use tea blends from magic hour teas- those teas around around 50.00 plus for 4 oz so those items are priced accordingly.

I can only make small batches for as quick as there are a ton of blooms, thats how quick they are gone.  Any fruits used are 100 percent local organic fruits and cleansed twice fold for purity. The honey is local honey from an amazing company called The beekeepers daughter. Izzy and myself consider ourselves raw honey experts lol Their honey is by far the best ive ever tried! We also love supporting local business! The coloring is natural coloring from the flowers or infused with butterfly pea flowers which are loaded with anti aging + antioxidant powerhouses! Each small batch from 7-10 needs atleast 1 full quart of flowers to make a batch! Its a love process!
