In late October, I noticed my lilac tree blooming flowers. This rare phenomenon had never happened since living in this house and the lilac tree was planted many decades ago- I took this as a sign. As I was digging into the symbolism of this strange occurrence, taking this as a sign/synchronicity- I had started digging into the astrological chart of the day.

The sun had currently been conjunct with the asteroid Persephone, which happens to be the period of time where she went back and retreated to the underworld. What’s also curious as I dug into my own natal chart during this transit is that the asteroid Syringa( which is the technical name for the lilac) was conjunct my Jupiter (luck, abundance and expansion), conjunct my super galactic center (the portal or antenna to complete cosmic consciousness) also conjunct my hecate( the chrone of literal magic) sitting in my 8th house of magic and alchemy. This transit also aspected my Chiron, also called the wounded healer. It was very apparent to me at that time, the lilac was brought to me to share with you all, the healing energies, the transformative energetics and the beauty of this flower, so I can help you reflect , retreat and regenerate during this time we are in the “underworld. “

The energetics of the light and the dark happen astrologically every year, at the winter solstice enters the marking point where we are in the depths of the underworld( our internal world) where we retreat and reflect on our shadow showing and leading us to the essence of who we truly are, what we need and when we do mental clean up . As we project inward we look to our shadow to reveal what has surfaced until the time comes when we project outward to the light once again. As of now we are slowly climbing out of the underworld as we will see the light in its full during the spring equinox.

When I first started reading about the energetics of flowers and their astrological correspondance- I found it very interesting, until it reached a whole new level with the lilac. Id felt the energy almost instantly. The lilac instantly gave me peace, comfort and hope. As I read about the energetics what stood out the most was the help of moving on, the encouragement to let go of the old and accept the new. Lilac gracefully and lovingly helps you transition to a new phase. Lilacs help you remember nostalgia and memories while springing you to new depths so you can grow- keeping your most beautiful nostalgic memories but creating a new sense of hope to build upon new dreams and journeys.

The flower essence of the lilac is imparted upon this blend for this very reason.

Now to get down to this actual Elixir/glycerite blend- After tincturing the lilacs and creating a vibrationally attuned lilac essence- I added this to a blend I made during gemini season during the new moon. New moons are the tine for manifestation, their kickstart intentions and what a better moon than a gemini ruled mercurial moon which rules communications.

During this new moon , the moon( inner emotions, thoughts and self) aligned with the pole star and the galactic center which activated the axis mundii. Think of the axis mundii as a long rod that penetrates the earth from top to bottom, think of it as a connecting pillar that connects all cosmic consciousness. The axis mundii is the center of everything , its literal magic, that connects the unconscious to the conscious. The moon was tightly squaring Neptune in the last degrees of pisces (Neptune rules pisces as is at home there). This square creates a necessary trigger to ACT and catapult change. In this case the piscean/neptune energy activates our inner world, our dreams, our imagination- the depths of our soul. The squares are needed for our soul growth and transition to our highest self. The axis mundii and Neptune together here build our intuitive power- helping us steer ourselves to our greatest good and highest soul growth. Jupiter (expansion, growth, abundance)was also harmoniously sextiling Saturn (order, diligence, hard work)- that way we don’t get too “woo woo” lost inside ourselves, which can sometimes happen with the darker part of Neptune’s delusional energies, but with this sextile creates a harmonious balance so we can see the clearer picture because of the control and order Saturn brings to the picture.

With this tincture blend I included all organic, and only the best sourced herbs including blue lotus flower, tulsi( vana, Rama and Krishna strains), butterfly pea flower, lavender flowers, honeysuckle flowers, licorice root, blueberries, damiana, wildflower local honey, kosher vegetable glycerin and a small amount of organic alcohol for preservation.

This blend is purely magical. It gives a dopamine hit which is very pleasant. Upon usage, I felt like I just sat in a warm bath-type feeling. I also felt very happy, very emotionally comforted and clear. I felt very introspective, calm, relaxed - absolutely perfect before bed or meditation! However, If used with coffee or any sort of uplifting adaptogens like rhodiola id get the motivation and drive to get done the mental work/ inner work I was looking to do without relaxing too much.
